About The Position

The LDAR Technician II at HPC-Industrial is responsible for monitoring and maintaining compliance with environmental regulations at the Valero Refinery Site. This role involves using analyzers and electronic data recorders to identify leaks, calibrate equipment, and ensure adherence to safety protocols while providing quality industrial cleaning services. The position emphasizes health and safety as the top priority and offers opportunities for career growth and development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • TWIC certification required.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waste codes, manifesting, and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) preferred.
  • Confined space entry and 40 Hour OSHA Training preferred.
  • Knowledge of RCRA requirements/regulations preferred.
  • Strong mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Health & Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
  • Set up and operate automatic and/or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
  • Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
