About The Position

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C), LMSW, LCPC or a Licensed Psychologist (Ph. D) serves as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) in a primary care setting for the PCMH model. This position requires the ability to work with children ages 6 and older. The BHC position necessitates an experienced, skilled clinician with expertise in psychiatric diagnostic triage, trauma treatment, emotional disturbance, and chronic, severe psychopathology. Experience working with both adults and children is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years providing therapy services.
• Experience in psychiatric diagnostic triage and trauma treatment.
• Experience working with children and adults.
• LGSW degree/license or LGPC degree and license accepted with relevant internships or post-graduate experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to inner city patients with trauma histories.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and triage interviews.
• Work with dually diagnosed populations.
• Deliver specialty mental health psychotherapy services in community mental health clinics.
