About The Position
To provide professional social services, including, but not limited to, psychosocial assessment, patient advocacy, discharge planning, resource management, crisis intervention, community education, and counseling, designed to meet the varying psychosocial needs of patients admitted to Terrebonne General organization 's Health and Rehabilitation Center and their families.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- completion of three years of supervised practice
- LCSW certification
- Candidate in good standing with the LCSW Board
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough assessment skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the medical field and/or knowledge of medical terminology beneficial
