About The Position

Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a full-time Clinician position with our organization's forensic mental health program in Riverside County. This program exclusively serves adult inmates who are justice involved and actively experiencing mental illness. Program objectives include facilitating early access to mental health assessment and treatment as well as providing effective competency training and restoration services. Services are provided onsite at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside and the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, CA.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Clinicians currently licensed as an ACSW or AMFT and anticipating obtaining licensure in the near future are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Providing mental health services to program clients one-to-one and in-person
• Performing psychosocial evaluations
• Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment, psychoeducation and crisis intervention
• Documenting treatment and client progress
• Participating in clinical team meetings
• Taking a leadership role in individual treatment team planning
• Consulting and collaborating with clinical, ancillary and security staff
• Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services
