Visit our websites to learn more: www.tascservices.org [https://www.tascservices.org/] | www.sanctuaryaat.org [https://www.sanctuaryaat.org/] See below for more job information: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  The Adult Skills Center (TASC) provides innovative and proactive services that empower individuals with diverse intellectual, developmental, and mental health needs to achieve their highest level of Independence and realize their greatest potential. The primary responsibility of the LCSW/LMFT is to provide all psychosocial interventions to individuals via telehealth or in person as assigned. The LCSW/LMFT is responsible for assessing client needs and determining appropriate methods of treatment with the service team, implementing intervention methodologies, and scheduling client treatments.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in a social services setting with adults with developmental disabilities. Experience with behavioral programs preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races.
  • Documentation of completed supervision CEU’s within 90 days of hire.
  • Master's Degree and Licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or other related Licensure.
  • Must be able to successfully complete First Aid/CPR and other trainings as required
  • Must have current California driver’s license/insurance and clean DMV
  • Must receive criminal record clearance through the DOJ
  • Ability to utilize zoom and other HIPAA compliant video and tele-health options
  • Ability to drive for work
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the content of education and counseling programs for individual clients.
  • Counsel clients and interpret to professional and lay groups the special psychosocial needs of clients by identifying needs.
  • Conduct intake assessments as needed.
  • Review and evaluate recent psychosocial health research and interpret it to professionals and clients.
  • Perform short term counseling and crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Prepare materials as needed or required.
  • Coordinate with clinical, health education, community and other staff members in the provision of services to clients. Provide referrals for services needed.
  • Coordinate with other organizational entities involved in services.
  • Provide community service information as an outreach worker such as required.
  • Maintain client files including weekly progress notes.
  • Delivery services in accordance with ethical standards and code of conduct.
