About the position

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Supervisor & Trainer is responsible for clinical duties, supervisory duties, as well as quality assurance oversight and training. The staff member provides staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, and supervisor, and fosters professional growth. Also, creates training and presentations for interns (Master's Level), fellows, and new hires. The LCSW collaborates with various business lines to ensure cohesive and standardized training related to behavioral health, facilitating the educational process, training, assessment, development, and evaluation of competencies. In addition, the Clinical Quality Assurance & Trainer provides direct services to patients, applying psychological and counselling principles in the following areas: assessment, clinical interventions, and case management. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), responsibilities include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning. LSCW provides a variety of interventions, such as individual, group, child, and family therapy. Interventions focus on short-term problem-solving therapy, short-term cognitive behavioral therapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, crisis intervention, coping skills, substance abuse treatment, behavior modification, case consultations, and other evidence-based practice techniques. As a Clinical Supervisor, the LCSW provides both clinical and administrative oversight to licensed and non-licensed staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical duties and supervisory duties.
  • Ensure quality assurance oversight and training.
  • Create training and presentations for interns, fellows, and new hires.

  • Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff.

Requirements

  • Professional Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the California Behavioral Science Board.
  • Master's level degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.
  • Previous experience supervising MSWs and/or ASWs preferred.
  • Completion of 15 units in Supervision coursework.
  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, or English and another predominant language preferred.
  • Experience in quality assurance.
  • Experience in developing training curriculum.

  • Previous experience supervising MSWs and/or ASWs.
