About The Position

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a results-driven and dedicated Fleet Sustainment Senior C5I Technician Lead to join our Global Security team. Come Join Mission Technologies! This position will require working onsite in Port Hueneme, CA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years related experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years related experience.
  • Top Secret security clearance eligible; Must possess a current Secret security clearance.
  • Client requirements: 15 years of experience with maintenance and repair of military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C5I) and/or Weapon Systems (e.g. CIWS, C-RAM, etc.) in a Naval Environment.
  • Bachelors degree in managerial, construction, civil or general engineering fields.
  • Five (5) years experience in project management of personnel and resources.
  • Three (3) years experience with secured, classified facility management and security protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, construction, civil or general engineering related fields.
  • Littoral Combat Ship Mission Modules or small Unmanned Surface Vessel program support.
  • Experience in support of Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) and Mission Module Readiness Centers (MMRCs).
  • Three (3) years experience with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Processes and Procedures across all MPSF/MMRC facilities in support of maintenance, embark/debark, modernization, engineering, sustainment, logistics, security, facilities, testing and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Microsoft Project or equivalent software that can produce Microsoft Project compatible files for project management.
  • Implement an effective Management information System to track costs, schedules, quality, and Government Property (both contractor and Government furnished).
  • Ensure that tasks are provided with adequate resources (personnel, time, tools, test equipment, training, etc.) to meet cost and schedule commitments.
  • Maintain an awareness of the quality of the work being performed and must be able to implement corrective actions as needed to meet acceptable quality limits.
  • Work with all functional departments as required to ensure continued customer satisfaction, compliance with corporate policies and standards, and to maintain high ethical standards.
  • Develop and guide initiative to improve our value to customers and creates identifiable differentiators amongst our competitors.
  • Lead people and projects while developing new business opportunities within DoD in accordance with assigned growth targets and ensure adequate preparation and submission of winning proposals for re-compete efforts.
  • Identify potential customers, analyze their requirements, and tailor strategies to address their needs and challenges.
  • Provide insights for informed decision-making during pursuits, including competitive assessments and pricing-to-win strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaming partners and suppliers to complete requirements per contractual documents.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, providing insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and strategic opportunities.
  • Communicate periodic progress, status updates, and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Personally model HII values of integrity, safety, honesty, engagement, responsibility and performance.
