When : Thursday, January 15, 2026, 4:30pm - 7:30pm EST Registration : Registration closes Wednesday, December 31, 2025 All interviews will be virtual and by appointment only. Details : Individuals eligible to attend this event must be licensed, or have eligibility for appropriate licensure for the following: Elementary (including those eligible to teach Dual Language Immersion) English Language Arts English Learners Family and Consumer Sciences Mathematics (High School and MS w/Algebra Endorsement) Science (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Middle School Science, Physics) School Counseling Special Education (ESCE, Aut, Cross Cat, ED, ID, DHH, Vision) World Languages (American Sign Language, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin) For a School Counseling postion, an active Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) license issued by the Virginia Department of Health Professionals (DHP) may also be considered. Once registration closes, qualified candidates will receive information regarding scheduling specific interview timeslots. Please note : Due to availability, endorsement area, and/or licensure eligibility, all candidates who apply may not be selected to participate. Please check our website for updates. Additionally, internal licensed employees, not on EOY, do not need to attend the fair and should apply through the Licensed Transfer Process. Additionally, candidates that have previously participated in one of our 2024-2025 fairs do not need to attend this fair. Please also note : LCPS does not perform activities or services related to immigration sponsorship. All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Per the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, all employees of LCPS are required to present original, acceptable, and unexpired documentation that establishes their identity and employment authorization upon hire. Therefore, to be considered for employment, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Requirements

Benefits

  • Newly hired LCPS teachers are eligible for a one-time, accruable sign-on bonus up to a maximum of $6000.
  • All new teachers will receive $2000.
  • Those who accept a position in a special education role and/or a Title I school will receive an additional $2000 for each respective assignment.
