Benefis Health System has a great opportunity for integrated Behavioral Health Consultants (BHC) to join our primary care behavioral health team as a Psychologist, LCPC or LCSW. Opportunities in various primary care clinics across our organization including pediatrics, rural health clinics, and family medicine. Position details Integrated primary care team member providing brief 20-30 minute interventions for a wide variety of health and behavioral concerns in patients of all ages in primary care clinics, working alongside primary care providers, team of behavioral health consultants, and clinical staff. Works closely with primary care providers and staff using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model to develop and implement treatment plans, increase patient’s access to behavioral health care, and provide on the fly consultation for providers. Applicants should have an interest in or experience with brief evidence-based interventions for individuals across the full life span, team-based care, a wide variety of presenting concerns, and diverse patient populations. Flexibility in schedule. Clinic is open and staffed Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Will consider both full time and part time positions. No call obligation

Requirements

  • LCSW or LCPC
  • Must have active Montana licensure or ability to apply for/receive licensure prior to starting employment
  • Interest in or experience with brief evidence-based interventions for individuals across the full life span, team-based care, a wide variety of presenting concerns, and diverse patient populations

Responsibilities

  • Providing brief 20-30 minute interventions for a wide variety of health and behavioral concerns in patients of all ages in primary care clinics
  • Working alongside primary care providers, team of behavioral health consultants, and clinical staff
  • Working closely with primary care providers and staff using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Increase patient’s access to behavioral health care
  • Provide on the fly consultation for providers
