The Manager for Life Cycle Management position at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for managing all supply chain activities and resources from starting materials to customer. This includes cost-efficient tech transfer, global launch, and supply sustainability for new and existing product lines. The role typically leads multiple global projects of medium to high complexity and significant business impact, operating under the general guidance of a supervisor. This position holds overall stewardship and accountability for assigned commercially marketed products and/or compounds within a specific business group or product portfolio, overseeing product strategy, supply chain management, and inventory management. The product portfolio usually consists of a larger number of mature products with medium total sales and a medium to high impact in case of recall or stock out, typically manufactured on stable production platforms and not part of licensing agreements. The Manager is also accountable for the flawless transfer of new products and processes from R&D or other partners into the Supply Chain (J&J or external) and their launch into regional or global commercial markets, including post-launch supply continuity, for products of medium to high impact, under the direction of the Mentor Franchise Product Manager.
