About The Position
Cenikor Foundation is seeking a dedicated LCDC Counselor to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. The primary purpose of this role is to provide essential counseling services to clients struggling with substance abuse issues. As a counselor, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans within three service days of their admission. This involves conducting comprehensive assessments, regularly scheduled treatment plan reviews, and providing both individual and group counseling services as indicated by the therapeutic schedule. You will also be responsible for daily interactions with detox clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for recovery, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and Cenikor policies. In addition to direct client interaction, you will complete necessary documentation, including client discharge summaries and referral reports, ensuring that all records are accurate and meet the required standards. You will collaborate with the management team to uphold Cenikor's core principles and contribute to a positive working environment. This role requires a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
