About The Position

Perform LC and LC-MS based analyses to support analytical development, DS/DP development, and manufacturing activities. Typical analyses include, but are not limited to: Failure sequence analysis Deamination analysis Residual mesyl azide quantification Oligonucleotide purity/impurity profiling Unknown impurities identification Deliver and document results with a strong focus on accuracy and rapid turnaround. Optimize analytical methods under guidance of supplier supervision. Conduct feasibility assessments, and scientific support for ongoing innovations. Process, interpret raw data and properly document results. Communicate any issues or concerns related to equipment, testing methods, or samples, and actively support troubleshooting and resolution efforts. Ensure efficient sample testing by daily check and preparation of instrument, method setup, material and solution preparation, and maintaining a well-organized laboratory environment in accordance with best practices. Support sample testing and logistics, including shipping and receiving samples among sites and facilities. (Responsibilities include aliquoting samples, completing shipping documentation, and coordinating with the shipping compliance team)

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BS with 3-4 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech setting.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.
  • Experience in the design and execution of analytical chemistry laboratory experiments is required.
  • Good understanding of analytical method development is required.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience in LC- and LC/MS- based analysis is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge and experience in oligonucleotide analysis is strongly desired.
  • Familiarity with data software such as Chemstation, OpenLab, WatersConnect, Xcalibar is preferred.
  • Self-driven, have the ability to work independently, and be thorough in conducting experiments, collecting and communicate results.
