The Layout Engineer is responsible for supporting project and field operations through providing accurate and timely field layouts that guide construction progress. This role is essential to ensuring projects are built with precision and efficiency and will directly contribute to team success. Duties and Responsibilities Project Startup: Check site control to ensure all aspects are within tolerance to continue. Coordinate with project team to determine when and how work will proceed. Ensure all layout materials are readily available. Project Maintenance: Complete daily layout needs for the project, proactively staying ahead of field work. These needs will be established in team up by the field team. Communicate with field team to schedule future activities. Coordinate the necessary as-built information and capture/record it. Ensure each project meets quality/layout standards as determined by the team. Additional Responsibilities: Maintain and clean equipment to ensure proper functionality. Proactively request supplies and materials as needed. Actively participate in safety programs and adhere to all jobsite safety standards. QA/QC of the project to assist the project team in minimizing rework.
