Join the Lawrence North high school internship for a hands-on, part-time opportunity where you will experience diverse functional areas such as: Chemistry, Requirements Engineering, System Integration & Testing, Device & Software Investigative Unit, and Human Factors. This program is designed to build your professional foundation by contributing to real-world projects, offering insights into business operations, and fostering crucial soft skills like communication, time management, and professional etiquette. You will enhance your presentation and stakeholder management abilities through regular updates and collaborative work, culminating in a final presentation showcasing your achievements. This internship position is located in Indianapolis, on-site. Develop skills to clearly outline and structure your project goals and objectives. Cultivate self-direction and personal accountability while working autonomously. Gain exposure to innovative tools, and industry-relevant software applications. Develop the ability to engage with stakeholders and align deliverables with their expectations. Acquire the skills necessary to prepare and deliver impactful presentations. Intensive 8 months, part-time (10 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in August 2026 and ends in April 2027. Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. Work with some of the most talented people in the medical device industry.

Requirements

  • Must be a senior in high school with a STEM based academic focus.
  • Strong academic preparation in STEM-related disciplines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Attentive to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
