Learn more about us: LawnRangerNoVA.com As a Lawn Services Technician, you will: Drive a company truck to residential and small commercial job sites Work independently or with a crew partner Operate professional lawn equipment safely and efficiently Deliver consistent, high-quality mowing and lawn services Represent the Lawn Ranger brand with professionalism and courtesy We are not “a guy with a mower.” We are building a disciplined, reliable, customer-focused operation.
Requirements
- High character and integrity
- Hardworking and dependable
- Comfortable working independently
- Friendly, confident communicator with customers
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and substance screening
- Zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol while employed
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred (but trainable candidates welcome)
Responsibilities
- Operate walk-behind mower, push mower, edger, string trimmer, and blower
- Ability to drive manual (stick shift) transmission
- Perform weekly and bi-weekly mowing services
- Maintain sharp striping, clean edges, and professional presentation
- Perform minor equipment maintenance: Blade sharpening and replacement Oil changes Basic small engine upkeep
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and truck
- Respect company equipment and property
- Maintain professional communication with customers
- On rain days or schedule gaps, technicians will assist with local marketing efforts (door hanger distribution and neighborhood outreach). We keep our team working.
