About The Position

This is not an entry-level lawn position. We’re hiring an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader who already knows equipment, pacing, and quality standards it takes to run a successful mowing crew. If you’ve led crews and take pride in clean, consistent results — this role is for you. SUMMARY OF POSITION: A lawn maintenance crew leader is responsible for overseeing lawn maintenance crews while assisting in the maintenance of both commercial and residential properties.

• Lift heavy objects for prolonged periods of time
• Maintain a steady pace throughout day in extreme weather conditions
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Maintain good attendance and report to work on time everyday

Nice To Haves

• State of Michigan Chauffeur's license preferred
• DOT medical card preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee lawn project from start to finish
• Lead others and delegate lawn maintenance tasks
• Commercial and residential mowing
• Use of hand tools including power equipment (i.e. string trimmers, stick edgers, blowers).
• Pruning shrubbery and trees
• Engage in positive interactions with customers and homeowners
• Serves as a reliable source of contact throughout the day
• Perform other duties as assigned
