About The Position

Operates lawn maintenance equipment to include push mowers, edger’s, blowers, and other types of equipment and machinery. Responsible for properly maintaining equipment. Competencies Thoroughness. Teamwork Orientation. Technical Capacity. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment The employee will be exposed to traffic. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee will be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, and / or sit for long periods of time, being able to reach with hands and arms, and is frequently required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is both a part time and full time position, depending upon contract. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school graduate or GED. One (1) year lawn and landscaping experience. Preferred Education and Experience Basic reading. Basic writing.
