About The Position

West Central Equipment, the John Deere agriculture and turf equipment dealer in Butler, PA is seeking a Lawn & Garden Service Technician. We offer a quarterly performance bonus program and tool allowance in addition to competitive wages and generous employee benefits.

Requirements

• 1 year experience performing service repairs on tractors and lawn & garden equipment required
• Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and following technical manual procedures required
• Good communication skills required
• High School diploma or equivalency
• Valid driver's license required
• Standard Toolbox required, specialized tools provided by company

Nice To Haves

• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in tractors and mowers desired

Responsibilities

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on riding mowers, tractors and hand-held equipment
• Perform setup and pre-delivery preparation of riding mowers, tractors and implements
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere products and competitive products
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Complete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignment
