Year-Round Job with a Winter Break – Work full-time through the year with a paid two-week holiday break included Guaranteed Weekly Hours – Minimum 35 hours/week paid, even during slow periods Overtime Opportunities – During peak season (spring/summer/fall), earn more with OT hours (1.5x hourly rate) Competitive Pay – Starting pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, based on experience and licensing. Technicians with a Registered Technician License and prior lawn care experience will start at the higher end of the range, while those new to the industry will begin at the lower end with full training provided. Paid Time Off & Holidays – 4 total weeks of paid time off per year: 10 flexible PTO days for personal time, sick leave, or holidays 10 scheduled days off during our paid winter break (Christmas through New Year’s) Bonus Opportunities – Based on route performance, customer satisfaction, and seasonal goals Company Vehicle & Uniforms Provided – Work with brand new, state-of-the-art equipment. Each technician is assigned a new Lawn Doctor van and a high-performance ride-on applicator. Unlike many competitors who use push-type spreaders, our ride-on systems reduce fatigue and increase productivity for a better workday experience. Training & Certification Support – We support technicians in obtaining their Registered Technician License and advancing to Certified Applicator. We pay for your training and certification as a Registered Technician — no out-of-pocket cost to you. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
A VDACS Registered Technician Certificate is required within 30 days of hire. We cover the cost and provide all training needed to help you succeed.
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Requires frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and physical activity outdoors
Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and on your feet for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Prior lawn care or landscape experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make on-the-spot decisions

Responsibilities

Apply lawn care treatments (fertilizer, weed control, insect control) to residential properties
Drive a company vehicle along an assigned route
Communicate with customers in a professional, friendly manner
Track materials and job completion in our mobile system
Perform seasonal services and maintenance throughout the year
