About The Position
The Lawn Care Specialist is responsible for applying fertilizers and weed control products, identifying common lawn issues like weeds, pests, and diseases, and operating specialized equipment such as spreaders and sprayers. The role involves daily outdoor work, customer interaction to provide friendly service, and maintaining detailed records of products used and services performed. Full training is provided for all essential functions.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn — we can train the rest!
- Dependable and punctual — our customers count on us.
- Enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather.
- Can lift up to 50lbs and handle physical work.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers and weed control products (we'll train you on how to do it safely and correctly).
- Learn how to identify common lawn weeds, pests, and diseases.
- Operate spreaders, sprayers, and other equipment (again, full training provided).
- Talk with customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Keep detailed notes on products used and services performed.
- Work outside daily — getting plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and steps.
