About The Position

WeedX Fertilizing is a fast-growing lawn fertilization, weed control, and pest management company focused on delivering professional, science-based lawn care with exceptional customer service. We are seeking a motivated, reliable leader to help run and grow the business. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing daily operations, answering customer calls, closing sales, and performing lawn fertilization and weed control services. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, sales-oriented, and comfortable working both in the field and in the office . You will be the face of WeedX—interacting with customers, managing routes, completing applications, and helping scale the company.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of Lawn fertilization experience
  • Sales or customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using phone apps, CRM systems, and basic software
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
  • PA pesticide license

Responsibilities

  • 📞 Customer Service & Sales Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails
  • Educate customers on WeedX lawn care programs
  • Provide pricing, upsell services, and close new accounts
  • Schedule new customers and manage service routes
  • Follow up on leads, estimates, and renewals
  • Handle basic customer questions, concerns, and service requests
  • 🌱 Lawn Care & Field Operations Apply fertilizers, weed control, and pest control products
  • Perform applications accurately and safely per label instructions
  • Maintain detailed service notes and records
  • Identify lawn issues and recommend solutions to customers
  • Load, maintain, and clean equipment and trucks
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures
  • 🗂️ Business & Operations Management Help manage daily schedules and route efficiency
  • Track completed services and ensure billing accuracy
  • Maintain inventory of products and materials
  • Assist with training future technicians
  • Report daily progress and issues to ownership
  • Support growth initiatives and operational improvements
