About The Position

As a Lawn and Garden Customer Service Representative , you will play a major role in supporting Landscapers Supply’s ability to serve our customers. You will be the face of the Lawn and Garden department and responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience. The ability to help customers with questions or finalizing a purchase with a smile and pleasant shopping experience will be required. You will represent and promote the sales operation of Landscapers Supply/Ace Hardware in a positive manner that ensures customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Good Math Skills
• Organization skills
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Paladin POS system
• Basic knowledge of selling Lawn and Garden Materials

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers entering or leaving your department with a smile and pleasant personality
• Engage customers in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner in person and on the phone.
• Ask customers open ended questions to determine their needs
• Maintain work area, and surrounding areas in a clean and professional manner.
• Report to your Manager any Security and loss prevention issues.
• Verify checks and watch for counterfeit cash.
