Summer 2025 Student Law Clerk – Immigration Hub (Minneapolis, MMLA) Position Type: Paid Temporary Part-Time Location: Minneapolis, MN Introduction: Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA) is seeking a rising 2L or 3L law student to work in our Minneapolis office. The successful candidate will work fully in-office during the training period to ensure comprehensive onboarding. After training, a hybrid schedule will be offered. This is a 10‑week summer clerk position with the opportunity to continue during the 2026–2027 school year for 10–15 hours per week. What’s in it for you: Flexible hybrid schedule after training. About the Regional Hub for New Americans: A partnership among five Minnesota immigration legal service providers: The Advocates for Human Rights, Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, and Volunteer Lawyers Network. The Hub expands access to immigration legal services through legal access points, community outreach, coordinated intake, rapid response, and education. About the Immigration Law Project (ILP): ILP provides representation in removal defense, adjustment of status, citizenship, and VAWA-based cases, including U and T visas. This clerkship primarily supports ILP’s collaboration with the Regional Hub for New Americans.
