Law School Commencement Workers
About The Position
This is an invite-only position for individuals working the commencement event for the law school. Mercer University emphasizes the importance of student employees, aiming to provide meaningful on-campus jobs that offer valuable work experience, build transferable skills, and foster habits beneficial for future career options, in addition to providing financial rewards. All student employees are required to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) and present documentation verifying citizenship or permanent residency before commencing work.
Requirements
- Must be an active student employee or have previously worked in a student position (for internal applicants)
- Complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9)
- Present documentation verifying citizenship or permanent residency (e.g., valid US Passport, certificate of US citizenship, alien registration card with photograph OR two of: state driver's license, validated student ID card, original social security card, birth certificate)
- Application is by invitation only
