The Student Assistant will work approximately 10 hours per week, in three shifts. Employment is dependent on ability to cover the required weekly shifts, among other factors. Required hours for each of the currently open positions during the Fall semester, up to the Exams Period: Required Weekly Shifts: Mondays AND Thursdays 7:30am-12:30pm Exams Period Hours: The position requires work during Exams Periods. We work with each Student Employee to create an alternative weekly work schedule during the Exams Period, to avoid conflict with their personal Exams Schedule. Position Title: Law Library Student Assistant Department: Law Library at Thomas R. Kline School of Law, at Duquesne University Pay: $11/hour – 10 hours per week Requirements: Duquesne University undergraduate or nonlaw graduate student Description: Student Assistants are responsible for providing continuous library coverage of the Circulation Desk. Duties also include charging/discharging library materials and participating in the stack maintenance program, and research assistance. The Circulation Desk is staffed by the Circulation Supervisor and Circulation Student Assistants.
