About The Position

We are currently hiring for a Jail Booking Technician who is responsible for the collection and limited verification of prisoner information necessary to record all commitments and discharges of persons delivered to the custody of the Weld County Jail on a 24 hour basis. You will enter and update information in a computer system, complete jail and court documents, and itemize and verify prisoner personal property inventory and cash or other negotiable instruments. The booking technician frequently provides or refers information about prisoners and prisoner activities within the jail. Must be available for any of the three shifts: 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Required to pass the pre-employment screening: assessment testing, oral board, background check, polygraph and drug screen.
