About The Position
You will protect and safeguard premises, property, personnel, assets and operations of the Bank through customer-focused services as a Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer. You may operate a post; working special law enforcement duties, such as securing crime scenes or perimeters around incidents; and/or performing directed law enforcement activities in emergency or crisis circumstances without being relieved for extended periods of times. You must successfully complete the Federal Reserve System's (FRS) Basic Law Enforcement Course (BLEC) which provides entry level basic law enforcement training to the FRS officers tasked with providing law enforcement and protection to the premises, grounds, property, personnel and operations of a Reserve Bank and the Board of Governors. Training is approximately (6-8 weeks) off premise held at either Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta or Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. The job description below is a dual grade job posting. Candidates who possess a slightly higher level of experience, education, or qualifications may also be considered.
