About The Position

Aon invites rising seniors to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program within the Law & Compliance Team. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chicago, IL office. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to and learn the essentials of law and compliance within a multinational multiservice company by working on a variety of assignments during your internship, focusing on Business Law and Privacy Law, under the supervision of attorneys. Requirements

  • The ability to work as an integral part of a team, manage multiple assignments, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Critical and innovative thinking, problem-solving, research and analytical skills
  • Positive, mature and professional demeanor with a desire to learn and display Aon’s values including acting with integrity and displaying a client, colleague and community commitment
  • Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and internet tools
  • Rising seniors graduating between December 2026 – June 2027
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas is preferred: Pre-Law, Business, Information Privacy, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, English, Communications, Political Science, Criminal Justice or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Draft contract templates
  • Write a privacy awareness article
  • Review marketing materials
  • Distil complex procedures into easy-to-use checklists or guides
  • Research current laws on a variety of business law topics
  • Gain hands-on experience in contract reviews and negotiations and pre-litigation resolution
  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail
  • Maintaining quality controls and checking work for accuracy
