About The Position

This job description reflects potential openings for the Summer 2026 Co-op/Internship Session (May- August). Work environments and projects may include but are not limited to: Manufacturing Law Administration: Conduct legal research and writing Assemble information and documents for legal matters Attend customer meetings and take notes Observe hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal matters

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • General Business Coursework
  • Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher (You will be required to provide your current transcript)
  • Class status- Rising 2L (by credit hour) or above
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
  • Enrollment in a Juris Doctor degree program with interest in corporate law, employment law, contract law, immigration, or other in-house legal specialties
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
  • Ability to secure own transportation to and from work each day

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and writing
  • Assemble information and documents for legal matters
  • Attend customer meetings and take notes
  • Observe hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal matters

  • Mentorship: Each Co-op/Intern is assigned a mentor in your department to help you navigate your time at Honda.
  • On-site Wellness Center: Co-ops and Interns have access to join our Wellness Centers (varies by location). Our Wellness Centers are fully equipped gyms with cardio machines, weights, basketball courts, pools, dieticians, personal trainers and group fitness classes.
  • Paid overtime: Co-ops and Interns will receive 1.5 times their hourly rate of pay for any overtime worked.
