About The Position

This job description reflects potential openings for the Summer 2025 Co-op/Internship Session (May- August). College students must apply to the requisition pertaining to their major and semester of interest. Please note: Sponsorship for employment visa status for these positions is unavailable. Applicants requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., F-1 CPT/OPT, H-1B, TN, etc.) will not be considered. Honda Co-operative and Learning Internships provide invaluable experience, with Co-ops/Interns tasked with hands-on, project-based work relevant to their department. Projects may include developing new tests, designing systems, traveling to suppliers, or serving as project managers. Co-ops/Interns are invited to participate in various paid work events and experiences offered by the Honda Co-op and Internship program team, including Q&A sessions with high-level associates, tours of Honda facilities, social events, and volunteer opportunities.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • General Business Coursework
  • Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher
  • Class status- Rising 2L (by credit hour) or above
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
  • Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 days in office
  • Enrollment in a Juris Doctor degree program with interest in corporate law, employment law, contract law, immigration, or other in-house legal specialties
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Ability to secure own transportation to and from work each day

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and writing
  • Assemble information and documents for legal matters
  • Attend customer meetings and take notes
  • Observe hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal matters
