About The Position
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an excellent opportunity for a Summer Law Clerk in our Indianapolis office. The Summer Law Clerk works under the direction of the Office Managing Partners, Practice Group Leader and/or Partners in preparing matters for hearing, trial, arbitration or mediation. Ideal candidates must be in the top 25% of their law school class. Requirements
- Rising 2L students enrolled in law school and ranked in the top 25% of their class.
- Available to be in office on scheduled days. No remote applications will be accepted.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language.
Responsibilities
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters and other documents.
- Reviewing and analyzing documents for relevance and privilege.
- Preparing for, attending and summarizing depositions.
- Coordinating and communicating with parties outside the Firm including clients, courts, opposing and co-counsel, vendors, attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, case assistants, managers and other staff.
