Support the Law Department while gaining an understanding of TTX Company, its owners, and the railroad industry. Perform legal research and analysis on a broad range of legal topics as issues arise. Such topics may include: employment law, environmental law, immigration law, corporate secretary responsibilities, generative AI, litigation issues, workers compensation issues, regulatory matters, contracts law, and government affairs. Provide either a detailed legal memorandum, PowerPoint presentation, or a short email or verbal analysis, as warranted. Participate in meetings with clients, vendors and the Law Department. Provide insight to Law Department and assist in developing legal strategies for the business. Gain an understanding and appreciation of an in-house law department, provide legal research and analysis, contribute ideas, and cultivate relationships with a strong team. Plan, design, develop, and execute on a project of the intern’s choice to develop project management, organization, and communication skills. Successful completion of tasks assigned.
