Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree. Must be currently in law school or have graduated law school.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with clients.
  • Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of the legal system and legal terminology.
  • This is an in-office position, so you must reside in the Southern Nevada area
  • Ability to bring A-game daily!

Responsibilities

  • Legal Research: Conduct research on various legal topics and provide summaries of findings to support the firm's attorneys.
  • Document Preparation: Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Case Management: Support case management tasks, such as scheduling court appearances, preparing case summaries and documents, as well as organizing case files.
  • Ability to meet or exceed monthly billing requirements.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, and others as directed by the firm's attorneys.
  • Be able to collaborate and work on a team as well as individually.
  • Daily use of the electronic case management system, Filevine to keep case files organized and up to date.
  • Be passionate about the practice of law and strive to exemplify the highest levels of respect and performance.
