About The Position

Law clerks and judicial attorneys review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions, memoranda, and briefs involving all areas of the Supreme Court's jurisdiction under Article IV, Section 2(B) of the Ohio Constitution. In addition, law clerks and judicial attorneys research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Chief Justice.

Requirements

• recent graduate from law school or a licensed attorney
• exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
• ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently
• expected to perform his or her duties on a daily basis in the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center in Columbus
