About The Position

The Law Clerk at PHINIA offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting a global public company and diversified industrial supplier. Reporting to the Senior Counsel, Corporate & Securities, this role offers exposure to public company governance, SEC reporting and securities laws issues, sustainability reporting and regulations, corporate finance, cybersecurity, legal operations, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. This role also offers exposure to a variety of other matters handled by the broader Legal team, including relating to trade and compliance, intellectual property, and commercial matters across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. It’s an exciting opportunity for law students interested in-house and corporate opportunities to contribute meaningfully while developing professional skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Responsibilities

  • Law student
  • Support the preparation of the Company’s securities filings and sustainability disclosures.
  • Research discrete issues, including related to securities, corporate governance, geopolitical events, sustainability, and cybersecurity.
  • Support preparation for Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings, with an opportunity to travel to headquarters to support the meetings in-person.
  • Develop awareness of the role of key functions within a complex global organization.
