About The Position
The Teacher, classroom (regular and bilingual) at Salinas City Elementary is responsible for providing an educational program for pupils. This position reports to the site administrator and involves supervising aides, teacher assistants, and other paraprofessionals. The teacher may instruct in various subjects including reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, health, art, music, foreign language, and physical education, utilizing appropriate learning activities. The role requires creating diverse learning experiences to motivate pupils and providing individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of each pupil.
