About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens Label and track resident items to support accurate return and reduce loss Follow laundering instructions and use proper water temperatures and products Maintain clean, safe laundry and storage areas; disinfect high-touch surfaces Operate washers, dryers, and related equipment safely; report issues promptly Restock linens and support unit supply needs as assigned Follow infection control, PPE, and safety procedures at all times Qualifications: Laundry or housekeeping experience helpful, training may be provided Reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful in a resident-centered environment Able to manage repetitive tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced shift Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Qualification Education and/or Experience GED or High School Diploma 1 year of experience preferred Language Skills Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures Reasoning Ability Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
