Requirements
- Must be able to work independently and as a team.
- Must have good oral and verbal communication skills and have the ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to appropriately prioritize and organize multiple tasks/projects.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with residents, families, staff, community resources, visitors and the general public.
- Must be highly customer service oriented and dedicated to providing superior hospitality and service at all times.
- Must be able to project cheerfulness and enthusiasm, maintain a positive attitude and work as a productive member of the Village health care center.
- Must maintain a professional appearance in compliance with facility personal appearance guidelines.
- Must be able to read instructions, safety rules, manuals and resident rosters in English.
- Must recognize multiple resident laundry needs and prioritized actions to meet those needs, including emergency situations.
- Must be able to use problem solving skills.
- Must follow guidelines and policies as outlined in employee policies and procedures handbook.
