About The Position

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Laundry Washer/Sorter who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. A Laundry Washer/Sorter supports daily laundry operations by efficiently sorting, washing, and drying a variety of linens in accordance with cleanliness, safety, and quality standards. This role ensures proper machine operation, accurate load handling, and consistent output to maintain a smooth, reliable flow of clean linens for the operation.

Requirements

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
• Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 100lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens into appropriate wash categories, identify stained or damaged items, and accurately load and unload washers and dryers while ensuring proper load weights.
• Select correct wash cycles and chemical formulas for each linen type, transfer washed items to dryers, and monitor load size and drying times based on fabric and weight.
• Deliver clean, dried linens to designated areas for folding or further processing.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment by performing routine cleaning, including clearing lint traps, following proper start‑up and shut‑down procedures, and reporting equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work area, ensuring all necessary chemicals and supplies are readily available.
