SERVPRO Laundry Technician

Our company provides cleanup and restoration services to customers that have experienced water, fire, mold or bio-hazard damage in their home or business. The main job duties for this position are sort and clean soft contents and personal property, detail clean contents, and inventory the items. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- IICRC certification is a plus, but not required
- You have previous commercial laundry experience

Responsibilities
- Sort and clean soft contents and personal property
- Detail clean contents
- Inventory the items
- Assist and performing other restoration activities, as needed, including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
- Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
