About The Position

The Laundry Technician is an integral part of The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital team. This position is tasked with providing clean laundry and orderly distribution to the assigned areas of the hospital. This position is responsible for separating, washing, drying, pressing and folding laundry as well as other duties as needed under the supervision of the laundry coordinator. The Laundry Technician should provide a clean, safe environment for our patients, their families and our staff.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, understand, read and write English required
• laundry or related work experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Overall processing of linens and related duties required to achieve this task
• Performs daily tasks like separating, washing, drying, pressing and folding laundry to provide adequate supply of linen and clothing for staff and patients.
