About The Position

Are You the Troubleshooter Everyone Calls? If solving electrical and mechanical puzzles is your thing, you’ll feel at home here. Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution is looking for a field expert to keep commercial laundry equipment running across gyms, laundromats, hospitals, hotels, and more. You’ll be the face of our team, heading straight from your home base in the Nashville, TN area to customer sites to diagnose issues, repair equipment, and ensure an exceptional experience every time. Your Mission Own the service journey from diagnosis to repair for commercial washers, dryers, and ironers in OPL and vended settings. Swap in replacement parts and confirm systems are operating to spec. Capture precise records of time, materials, mileage, and fuel. Keep customers informed and confident with clear, professional updates. Partner with the service manager, parts team, and vendors to speed accurate solutions. Care for your tools, test gear, and company-supplied service vehicle. Jump in with install crews on new equipment installations and deliveries when needed. Pitch in on additional tasks that streamline department operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of mechanical repair experience preferred; commercial laundry experience is a plus.
  • Comparable education/training/experience considered.
  • Hands-on with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic/programming tools.
  • Comfort using phone/email/ticketing dispatch systems (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel (preferred).
  • Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting proficiency, with the ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings and use a multimeter confidently.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Clear, courteous communicator—written, verbal, and interpersonal—with a positive, enthusiastic approach.
  • Resilient problem-solver who navigates ambiguity and change.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Frequent travel within the territory; some overnight stays for larger projects.
  • Regular activities include sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, and fine motor work.
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs. frequently; assistive devices provided for heavier items.
  • Expect periods of computer-based work requiring close vision and the ability to adjust focus; regular talking and hearing required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record required; a company vehicle may be provided.
