As a Laundry Supervisor for the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort, you will oversee the daily laundry operations and resort guidelines, ensuring high-quality standards and complete guest satisfaction.

  • Supervise and motivate all laundry personnel, including staffing, training, discipline, and scheduling.
  • Visually monitor performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Sort and count articles to verify inventory quantities.
  • Maintain chemical inventory.
  • Prepare weekly schedules for laundry personnel to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Assign laundry pickups from rooms and properties.
  • Supply the Housekeeping Department with the correct inventory of linens and supplies for checkouts.
  • Ensure all equipment is working properly and cleaned daily.
  • Report work orders promptly when maintenance is required.
  • Administer policies fairly and consistently, completing disciplinary procedures and documentation according to policy.
  • Ensure the quality and productivity of Laundry Attendants and Wash Persons are met.
  • Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be comfortable working in a hot environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must have proof of a valid driver's license.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
