As a Laundry Supervisor for the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort, you will oversee the daily laundry operations and resort guidelines, ensuring high-quality standards and complete guest satisfaction.
Supervise and motivate all laundry personnel, including staffing, training, discipline, and scheduling.
Visually monitor performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Sort and count articles to verify inventory quantities.
Maintain chemical inventory.
Prepare weekly schedules for laundry personnel to ensure adequate staffing.
Assign laundry pickups from rooms and properties.
Supply the Housekeeping Department with the correct inventory of linens and supplies for checkouts.
Ensure all equipment is working properly and cleaned daily.
Report work orders promptly when maintenance is required.
Administer policies fairly and consistently, completing disciplinary procedures and documentation according to policy.
Ensure the quality and productivity of Laundry Attendants and Wash Persons are met.
Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
Possesses a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be comfortable working in a hot environment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must have proof of a valid driver's license.
Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
