About The Position

At Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, the Laundry Supervisor oversees all daily operations within the Laundry, Dry Cleaning, and Uniform Rooms. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and organization while supporting internal and external customers through exceptional quality and service.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role within a luxury or ultra‑luxury hotel environment preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, attention to detail, reasoning ability, initiative, and responsibility.
  • Knowledge of laundry chemicals, washing equipment, pressing, folding, drying processes, dry cleaning procedures, pre‑spotting techniques, and guest clothing handling.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise laundry operations to meet established policies and standards for hotel linens, Food & Beverage items, guest clothing, and employee uniforms.
  • Ensure all team members follow proper safety protocols, wear protective equipment, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all laundry areas.
  • Organize and oversee the workflow of washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
  • Monitor proper use and operation of all laundry equipment, complete daily operational reports, and report equipment issues promptly to Engineering.
  • Ensure proper dosing and use of chemical products, maintaining high-quality cleaning results and cost efficiency aligned with department budgets.
  • Train and support staff daily to achieve quality and productivity goals aligned with departmental and hotel standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Ensure the laundry plant remains clean, organized, and fully operational at all times.
  • Participate in linen and uniform inventories and generate reports when required.
  • Support department meetings and assume responsibility for department operations in the absence of the Housekeeping Management team
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times and work harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors.
