About The Position

The Comfort Inn University is hiring for a Laundry Supervisor - Our housekeeping department is under new management!! The Comfort Inn University Missoula is managed by Providence Hospitality Partners is based in Denver, Colorado, and founded in 2002. SUMMARY: The Laundry Supervisor assists with the coordination of the daily operations of the laundry area of the housekeeping department to ensure highest standards for cleanliness, product quality, and guest service for the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipates and assesses guests’ needs and responds in a courteous and professional manner
  • Interfaces with appropriate hotel staff/managers to receive information regarding linen needs; ensures timely response to requests
  • Interfaces with maintenance/engineering to report/recommend maintenance/repair needs
  • Monitors and maintains proper inventory
  • Supervises and assists staff in laundry duties
  • Ensures linen carts are well maintained
  • Prepares accurate and timely reports as required
  • Monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and safety regulations
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates
  • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
