About The Position

Responsible for openings, emptying, and sorting bags of soiled hospital linens into established linen classification. Also responsible for complying with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen standards. This position requires PPE.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of safety standards
Proactive and self-motivated, with an attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work and communicate in a richly diverse environment
Good communication skills
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift such as push, pull, and lift
Energetic, self-starter
Attendance is an essential function of the job
The employee is required to stand/walk most of the day and also required to repeat motions to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell
The employee must constantly push and pull up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
