About The Position

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Requirements

• Able to respond to basic verbalcommands.
• Effectively followdirections.
• Organized
• Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hourspershift.
• Able to push, pull and/orlift upto 50 lbs.
• May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels.
• May berequiredto bend,reachand/orlift upto 25 lbs.

• Laundry or housekeeping experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing
• Feedsclean linensthrough movingbeltfoldingmachines
• Hand Folds – Manually foldssmall pieces of terry
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards.
• Flat Worker Ironer,Feeders folders, Shakers,Stackersand Wrappers
• Tie out – Laundry- Ties bundles of cleandried linen and terry
• Sort through linen products, depositing linen products into respective containers
• Preventing accidents by working safely is to be the highest priority.
• Tracking production
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Notifying Shift Managerof anymechanical ormaterial issues
• Performs other duties asrequired.
• Participate fully in company health and safety programs andcomply withall company OSHA policies and procedures.
• Follow all lawful employer safety and health rules.
• Wear and / or use Personal Protective Equipment, when and how instructed.
• Report hazardous conditions to management.
• Report any job-related injury or illness tomanagement andseek treatment promptly.
• Other duties as requested.
