POSITION SUMMARY: The Laundry Mechanic maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, presses, conveyors), focusing on preventive maintenance to ensure efficiency, diagnosing mechanical/electrical faults, replacing parts, following safety protocols (lock-out/tag-out), and documenting work to minimize downtime and keep operations smooth. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Inspect and maintain laundry equipment (washers, dryers, presses, steamers). Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in laundry machines. Repair or replace faulty parts such as belts, motors, valves, and bearings. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper machine operation. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records for all equipment. Order and manage spare parts inventory as needed. Collaborate with laundry staff to minimize downtime and disruptions. Test equipment after repairs to confirm proper functionality. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
