About The Position

The Laundry Mechanic ("Mecánico de Lavandería") troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electronic control systems, electrical issues, pneumatic systems, hydraulic and mechanical systems, motors, pumps, sensors, and gear drives.

Requirements

At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment problems.
Troubleshoots and repairs electronic control systems, electrical relays, and power source issues.
Troubleshoots and repairs combustion systems.
Troubleshoots and repairs electric motors, pumps, valves, and boilers.
Maintains orderly condition of the assigned work area.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
