About The Position

Town and Country Resort is looking for a hardworking and dependable Laundry Attendant to keep our linens fresh, clean, and ready to delight every guest. Our laundry team is the force behind every fresh, hotel-perfect linen that adds comfort and quality to each guest’s stay. Your care and attention to detail ensure our guest rooms, restaurants, and event spaces always have the spotless linens that reflect our commitment to comfort and quality. Requirements

Experience: Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is strongly preferred — but we’ll happily train the right person with a great attitude!
Knowledge: Basic understanding of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and laundry equipment operation.
Strengths: Dependable, detail-driven, and works well with others.
Must be able to stand and move for long periods while managing multiple tasks.
Flexibility: This is a fast-paced resort environment, so availability for varied shifts — including weekends and holidays — is essential.
Language: Ability to understand, speak, read, and write basic English.
Must be able to stand and move continuously throughout the shift.
Ability to lift, push, and pull (linen bags, laundry carts, and supply bins).
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand motions while loading or folding items.
Comfortable working in a warm environment near commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment.
Must be able to safely handle cleaning agents and materials using proper protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Wash, dry, and fold all linens, towels, and resort fabrics to meet the resort's high standards of cleanliness.
Sort and inspect items before and after washing, ensuring each piece is free of stains, damage, or wear.
Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor chemical levels, machine settings, and cycle performance to achieve the best cleaning results every time.
Neatly organize, label, and store freshly cleaned linens for easy distribution to housekeeping and other departments.
Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free from clutter or hazards throughout each shift.
Promptly report any maintenance issues or equipment concerns to your supervisor.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and spotless workspace.
Maintain a professional appearance and communicate positively with team members and supervisors.
